ProCan®. This world-leading cancer research program is creating the tools to help doctors choose the best existing cancer treatments for their patients. $2.1m in GCC dollars in 2024 helped to develop artificial intelligence-based methods to improve the understanding of how cancer cells behave, better diagnose cancer subtypes, and predict whether cancers are likely to relapse. It also helped fund upgrades of the research equipment, including the specialised machinery that precisely delivers the cancer samples into the advanced analysers.
