My Story

This October, I am taking part in my 10th Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! We took on the challenge, inspired by our friend Charlotte who beat cancer and all the other beautiful kids from PMH. This year has been exceptionally difficult for two beautiful families we know who have lost a son and a daughter to Brain Cancer and we will ride for them.

Sadly, we lost a very good friend who has been part of our team for 8 years and we will be riding with Dave's family to honour his memory and his great achievements in fundraising for the kids and saving little lives. Right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
