My Story

This October, I’m taking on my biggest challenge yet – riding my bike from Melbourne to Sydney, covering over 1,000 km in just 12 days, to raise funds for kids’ cancer research.

Why?

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia. Over 600 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 3 die every week. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

That’s why I’m riding and fundraising to support the Children’s Medical Research Institute, to help give kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. Together, we can save little lives.

Euroa → Wangaratta ✅

Day 3 had a bit of everything got swooped by magpies 12 times, saw 2 snakes sunbaking on the road, and picked up 2 flat tyres along the way 😅 never a dull moment!

Day 2 is wrapped up after a long ride from Kilmore to Euroa! The legs are starting to feel the kilometres, but the drive to keep going is stronger than ever 💪

🚴‍♂️ DAY 1 – HERE WE GO! 🚴‍♂️

Today’s the day I’m officially starting my ride from Flinders Street Station in Melbourne, making my way all the way to Sydney over the next 12 days! 🇦🇺

No big training plan, no fancy prep just me, my bike, and a goal to make a difference 💛

Every kilometre is for the kids fighting cancer. I’ll be sharing updates each day as I take on the 1,000+ km ride, the challenges, the towns, and the moments that keep me going.

In just 3 weeks, I’ll be setting off on my biggest challenge yet — cycling from Melbourne to Sydney, a ride of more than 1,000 km.

The journey will take me around 12 days to complete, riding through tough climbs, long stretches of road, and whatever the weather throws at me. It won’t be easy, but every kilometre is for a cause that’s bigger than me, raising funds for kids’ cancer research.

Between now and the start line, I’ll be training, planning, and making sure everything is ready to go. I’ll also be sharing updates right here so you can follow the ride from preparation all the way to the finish in Sydney.
